I see that a lot of people are interested in this project, including me. I really would like to see this project making progress.
Currently the bottleneck seems to be your capacity.

Would it be conceivable for you to add more people with maintainer role to this project?

I already have some experiences in managing an open source project. There are definitive ways to limit permissions in way that nobody can destroy your project. And in cases where something is merged on main mistakenly there is always the possibilty to revert commits..

If you are interested in we could have a call and brainstorm about such things. I would be interested to help. :)
