Usually, shell commands are quick to run, and it's only interesting to get a notification about their output. However, some shell commands might take a longer time to process, in which case it can be nice to be able to see that a shell command is under execution. You can turn on a notification balloon for this in settings.
I'm thinking about changing the default value to be Show until the process is finished, but I'd like to hear some opinions. I think the change would make it easier for new users of the SC plugin to notice that their shell command(s) is/are running. Makes using the plugin clearer. A downside is that it can be noisy for a user who constantly executes shell commands - but they can then disable the setting.
This change would only affect new installations of the plugin.
