a few things to note is that i love how it was able to import models from Gex 3, however there is a few major issues, mainly that It cannot export skins(in example, billiard balls, blinking textures, animated texture frames, etc. second, the file for the Army Channel won't open in the program, but other other file is fine(as far as i am aware) dunno if that's just me, but that's the only one unable to be opened with ModelEx5

Am I understanding correctly that you're referring to animated effects when you say skins? Are you able to at least export the models and textures?
I'll take a look at the Army Channel, but I don't know how soon I'll get to it.

I can export the textures and models yeah, but things such as animated textures and/or alternate versions of the textures are not exportable, as for the Army Channel issue, take your time, it's no rush, though one thing that's sorta bizarre is how textures are exported, they seem to export all weirdly, like this Wall Monster image.

Try checking Options->IndexedTextures->Use Unique before you export. By default, ModelEx will try to combine all the textures into one by overwriting unused parts. This option turns that off.

That won't help the animated stuff though. I'm trying to make sure all bugs are fixed, transparency and polygon offset is working correctly before more complicated stuff like that. The file format changes somewhat between different games in this engine, and I want to avoid any solutions that don't work for all of them. That means I need to understand all of them properly before trying it out.

by "skins" I mean like, alternate textures, such as the Candlesticks blinking, the Rogue Mech's leg lights changing, the ladybug's faces, etc, but yes, animated frames are also missing.
