On top of plenty of geometry the clothes aren't fit over in the first place

Rigs and muscles are also inferior to MB labs, would've liked working muscles and for the rig to work with clothes for something supposed to be up to date

Can you send example blend files? Do you have problems with MB-Lab characters or with Antonia/Reom?

I could if I felt like annotating a file for hours on end, it really doesn't help that this and MB lab don't use the same vertex groups, meaning I can't take the superior hair having, non misshapen boxers wearing models of this addon and give it the superior rigging of MB lab with joints that do actual human joint things.

For generating realistic humans, some of these addons fall apart once you want to make anything other than statues, which I imagine is what most people need, on account of there being a 'gaming' rig that's completely inferior to taking MB lab and just tick IK + muscle.

MB-Lab muscle rig is still available for MB characters

Doesn't it work? Have you tried choosing "Basic muscles" in Rig dropdown list?

by the way are you using custom clothes or the ones included with charmorph?

I only have the charmorph clothes so yes

and basic muscles is broken, it either doesn't move anything or it moves with complete disregard of the limits of human anatomy, doesn't come close to what mb lab does with its muscles

As a workaround, it may be best to use the mask modifier to avoid patches.

I'll keep that in mind for after I figure out how to make armor suits

I can't reproduce these issues so I can't do anything without examples. There is some known issues with clothes, but I had much more of these with MB-Lab.

untitled
if this doesn't describe all my problems well enough nothing will, there's no difference in the rig either with the mask applied, even if I take the threshold up to 1 to unmask the rest of the body and make the vertex groups visible

OK, yes, it's one of "known issues" and in this case it's directly inherited from MB-Lab. I reproduced the same problem in MB-Lab 1.7.8. And this is not a problem in fitting algorighm, there's problem in the clothing asset itself.
