Orchid - several issues with manual partitioning #432
Comments
Is it useful to follow these instructions for getting/providing more detailed information about the problem? |
First update: when I added swap by deleting/re-creating sda4 I re-created sda4 wrongly with the type lvm instead of btrfs. I was mislead by the fact that sda4 had type lvm before I deleted it. With sda4 formatted as btrfs in gparted the installation proceeds, but crashes later, when it tries to set up swap. Second update: re-installing once more with manual partitioning, this time without requesting swap on sda5 but preserving sda5. This installation finishes normally. Following this time these instructions for the last two attempts, I was able to save the logs. Should I upload them? |
Please don't put multiple issues in one. It's impossible to track issues like that.
