Expected Behavior

image_2024-10-19_192920324
I am trying to switch profiles while simultaneously switching to the correct scene collection

Current Behavior

It will work when I'm switching from one profile, but not the other, then tells me there is a "Source Cleanup Error" and forces OBS to close. Now I'm trying to get a screenshot of the popup, but OBS keeps freezing altogether so I am unable to do that

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Switch from one profile to another (which should trigger the scene collection switch)
  2. If it worked, attempt to switch back again

Anything else we should know?

Thanks for reporting the issue!

Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce the crash so far.
I had set up two profiles and scene collections, which will be continuously be switched to, and left that setup running for ~15 minutes.

Can you maybe export your macros and share them here?

I would be rather surprised if the "Scene collection" or "Profile" actions or conditions trigger this error directly as they do not interact with sources.
So I am likely missing a crucial step.

I am trying to switch profiles while simultaneously switching to the correct scene collection

I am not too familiar with your macro setup, so the following point might not apply:
Why not move both actions - the switching of the profile and the switching of the scene collection - into a single macro like this?

Having those two actions run in parallel to each other seems quite "unstable" / unreliable to me.
