Background

I can't find anywhere how to manually install the plugin in OBS, and I don't see an installer for openSUSE. I don't know how or where I need to do what.

Solution

The solution for non-Debian distros could be an explanation of how to install it manually, but the README is empty in this regard.

Alternatives

I know that Flatpak has the option to install the plugin, but I am trying to use my system to get NVENC working, and although it worked in Flatpak and not in the repository version, I would like to install everything manually.

Anything else we should know?

I know that using Flatpak is possible, the idea is not to use it.

Unfortunately, the prebuilt files are likely only compatible with Ubuntu / Debian based distributions, and even there it is just compatible with specific versions.
If using flatpak and snap is not an option and there is no package provided by your Linux distribution, I fear the only solution be be to compile the plugin yourself.
I can try to support you here, but I don't really have experience with using openSUSE myself.
