Contributors Missing on WordPress.org Plugin Page

Issue:
The Contributors & Developers section on the WordPress.org page doesn't show any contributor names, only a link to WordPress.org.

Expected:
It should list actual contributors like it does on GitHub.

Fix Suggestion:
Add the correct Contributors: line in the readme.txt file with valid WordPress.org usernames, e.g.:
Contributors: wordpressdotorg, kraftbj, cbravobernal, pkevan, priethor, cyberwani, YanMetelitsa, haseebnawaz298, racmanuel

Thanks for noticing, @theaminuli! However, I'm not sure we should make this change: SCF is a canonical plugin, and as such, is aimed to be maintained by wordpress.org core contributors. The list could also get pretty long, too. Let's check other community plugins to follow their example.

Thanks for the quick response, @priethor! That makes sense regarding SCF being a canonical plugin. However, I noticed that other canonical or community-maintained plugins like Create Block Theme still include individual contributor usernames in their readme.txt — which helps give credit where it's due, and also adds a bit more transparency around active maintainers. If the list gets long, perhaps we can limit it to core contributors who've made recent or significant contributions? Just thinking out loud — happy to align with whatever precedent is best. My first thought is to follow the prior art of other canonical plugins.

Absent a clear standard, the next things that come to mind is making it sustainable. I know Core itself in wordpress/wordpress-develop does some work with outputting props, which I assume checks w.org for the correct username against a given GitHub handle. If we can automate it in some way, similar to the credits API for Core, so that the list is accurate without a lot of maintainer effort, I'm down for it. If we need to limit it to a certain time frame or last X releases, so be it.

Until it could be automated, I wouldn't want to set the expectation.
