Problem with a sensor after being renamed.

Hi, I recently acquired a batch of new sensors and added them all to my panel. I changed my mind and re-named a sensor from Back Window to Back Window Left...

It is stuck in HA as Back Window but not showing with status updates. It is showing as the updated name on the panel and seems to be functioning normally there.

I've tried to remove and re-add the sensor but Home Assistant still has the old name with no updates. I have also restarted the AppDaemon add-on and restarted HA since then.

Anything I can try?

Just tried to completely remove the sensor - it is still showing up in HA, even after addon and Home Assistant restart... No idea what to try next?

Still having this issue. Sensor was remove, panel restarted, addon restarted, etc. Still have this phantom entity that doesnt respond to updates.

Have you tried clearing out MQTT? That's the only thing I could think of. Otherwise home assistant should let you get rid of the sensor
