Describe the bug
If install Xcode app with XcodesApp, System Preference Extension will does not show Xcode source editor option.
And delete this Xcode app , install with App Store or download from developer.apple.com, that option will appear in System Preference Extension

To Reproduce
install Xcode with XcodesApp;
install some extension of Xcode;
check option in System Preference Extension;

Version

  • OS: 11.6 (20G165)
  • Xcodes: 13.0
