I use 1.2.37.701 |
Still working for me on version 1.2.40.599.
Are there any logs indicating spotify-adblock being loaded and allowing/denying connections then? Could you provide those?
When and where did you see that URL exactly? It doesn't look like it's related to Spotify.
How is the VPN related? Are you suggesting it might be the cause of the problem? |
Logs:
It is related to Spotify. It's a login URL. It's hapenned when I ran Spotify and it asked me to logon by using this kind of URL.
This is not related to VPN but to the mistatch between the country of your IP and the countrry listed in your Spotify account. I dunno if it's the root cause, but issue popped just after logged in. |
I downloaded the git source code one and adblock started working again. |
It stopped working for me too, it's been months, I tested on Ubuntu then on Debian now (12/trixie/testing):

adblocking dont work, ads continue playing. trying launch:

Spotify Linux 1.2.37.701
Since a few days, the code that was working very well since a while, now is outdated.
This occurred after a successful login, the URL was something like: http://127.0.0.1:4381/login?code=XXX
Needed a VPN, because it said that I wasn't in a country listed in my profile.
No errors in logs.
My launch command is:
Tried a
git pull
from sources, but there's no new code since 5a3281dSat Jul 22 01:52:51 2023 +0200
Ready to help for Linux platform if needed.
