Gem is still on v2.1.2

Hi,

The v2.1.2 is release back on 2014. Is it still holds good?

$ gem list | grep gmap
gmaps4rails (2.1.2)

I see master branch has updates from last year i.e. 2016.

Why there is no update for gem ?

You are right, I should have made a new release a long time ago.
I'd need to resetup everything to make specs run on my new environment and havent taken the time yet. I'd suggest you point directly to github's repo if you need the latest changes.
