Import settings doesn't work on new iPhone #809
Comments
Odd to see the implementation not working. for now as a workaround copy everything in the .txt into the device’s clipboard and use Paste Settings until I figure out why it doesn’t do anything. |
Ok copying and pasting the contents of the txt files has worked. Still appreciate that you look into importing the file directly. Also need to set up uYou settings from scratch aswell, by looking and comparing from my previous iPhone for each toggle. I wish we could transfer uYou settings and YouTube settings aswell.. |
The “Copy Settings/Export Settings” Button does save some of the “uYou settings”. |
Hmmm ok didn't feel that way as I did need to make adjustments and still do. Sponsorblock settings also don't transfer over right? |
Unfortunately iSponsorBlock isn’t compatible with Copy Settings/Export Settings. The way iSponsorBlock handles settings is different. |
I just got a new iPhone and exported the uYouEnhanced settings on my previous iPhone. Now importing the txt settings file on my new iPhone it somehow doesn't work. No response and I tried closing the app several times, it doesn't apply those settings.
Any idea how I can fix this? I don't want to set everything up from scratch and have my preferred uYouEnhanced settings saved in the file
