TWAI interface

Hello,
I'm unable to find a Two-Wire Automotive Interface (TWAI) implementation in the AtomVM. Am I missing something , or is it not there yet ?

I did look for some external repository with component supporting TWAI. After reading through this issue TWAI support should be done in AtomVM (because TWAI is a core ESP component) ?

I appreciate opinions on above.
If I'm right, and this is something to be added, would you be open for contribution in that area?

This is not something that has been implemented yet. This is somewhat of a specialty interface, so to keep the size of the core VM smaller it would likely be best added as an add-on component, like the atomvm_lora and atomvm_neopixel drivers.

We would certainly encourage you to create and share an add on component for AtomVM. I would suggest naming it atomvm_twai. If you need guidance or would like to discuss this with other users and developers I suggest you join our Telegram channel and discuss this in the "Projects" topic:
