I have made some patches for happy-1.13 (used in alex-2.0.1, which is used in GHC 6.2). However, I had to replace the use of STUArray with IOArray. It would be nice if MicroHs had native support for ST and friends such that this patching wouldn't be necessary.

Once I have verified that alex/happy are working, I will submit a PR to link them from the README.

Yeah, I've not parted all the array stuff to MicroHs.
I should do that. There are currently no unboxed array, but they shouldn't be hard to add.
