Best capture card recommendation for HDCP content with Ezcoo splitter

Hi!

I'm in the planning phase of creating an ambilight project and spent the better part of today reading through the discussions in this repo. My TV and input source (FireTV 4K with HDCP) support HDR10+, and I'm hoping to get the setup tuned to work well with that. I'm a little stuck and was hoping I could ask for some help around the choice of capture card that works best with this Ezcoo splitter. I believe this is the one that was recommended multiple times in other threads. I read that the MS2130 has had some recent issues with firmware, and if there are alternatives that don't require messing with their firmware, I'd prefer that. So I'd like to ask what is the most up-to-date recommendation for a capture card that would work well for the above setup, and has the least issues/complications at the moment.
