For cron-like tasks, it would be great to target an existing app with an EventBridge schedule.
Scheduled jobs are better optimised for spinning up a new task for running resource-intensive tasks with a codebase that may or may not be shared across apps. This would target existing lambdas or an existing app via a scheduled API call (or any other way possible)
