Turn off legend for "base curve family"

Hi. It would be nice to be able to turn off the "base curve" entries in the legend (i.e. x- and y-axes, constant-whatever-lines) as these are fairly clear from the chart itself. The legend should then only contain additional elements, e.g. points, lines and areas.
