Open Bambu Studios in a multi monitor setup, and try to expand the window across both (or more)monitors.
Observe how window limits it's size for some unexplained reason, needlessly making it more difficult to actually work with the program.
Actual results
The window limits it's so an arbitrary size that seems to be based on the size of the monitor.
Expected results
THAT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN!!!
Why, please tell me why, is the program artificially limiting its size based on the monitor it detects? That's very bad UX, and a bad decision. I want to turn that off completely so I can freely expand the program, like how every other program ever works.
I'm a software develop, just tell me where you're limiting the window size and I can fix it myself if you guys aren't willing to allow your user to freely use your product at whatever size we want. I want to use this program on my dual screen laptop, but I can't expand it because of the bad limitation you have forced into this program.
Please fix it, or at least tell me how to rip out this bad decision. Thank you.

Bambu Studio stops me from expanding window across two montiros
Bambu Studio stops me from expanding window across two monitors
Mar 10, 2025
The monitors are stacked on top of each other, despite being side by side in the video. My first time using OBS, sorry if it's confusing.
It's an mkv file and github won't let me upload it. So dropbox will have to do.
As you notice, the window takes up the maximum view of one of my monitors, but I can't expand the bambu window to cover both. And if I turn my laptop sideways and open Bambu, the bambu window orients itself longways and doesn't expand sideways to cover both monitors. It seems to read one of my monitors on startup, and refuses to expand past that initial limitation.
Apologies for my earlier frustration, I just very much do not like it when software has arbitrary limitations that gets in the way of using the software. I need to double screen it to use bambu effectively on this device.
