8.14.0 | ConversationsException intermittent spikes

We've noticed our app is having intermittent crashing issues with the 8.14.0 bazaarvoice sdk - ConversationsException with com.bazaarvoice.bvandroidsdk.LoadCallDisplay.fetchV7 (LoadCallDisplay.java:197)

We're having difficulty replicating this as it seems to have bad days - like thousands of crashes one day and then just a dozen per day for the next week or more. That said, we don't know if something is going on with the bazaarvoice backend that the SDK isn't handling gracefully, or if there's a more obvious cause for this problem that someone can fill us in on.
