At present when debian package is installed the /opt/beamparticle- is installed. It do not migrate the older version custom data automatically.

It is important to note that when softwares like nltk is used, it downloads some stuff in /opt/beamparticle/nltk_data for it to work correctly. This along with other configurations and logs must be migrated automatically to the new release, which is not done at present.
