(Possible) Bug: Ankdown adds <p></p> to the first and second field

I haven't found a way to disable this. But than again, this might be intentional.

This is the (default, at least) behavior of Misaka (the markdown engine), which is run on the first two fields since those are the front and back of the card in the hard-coded card type I'm using. I would probably welcome a PR that made the card schema more configurable.
