• Thanks @ericvd-ucb for getting the nbgitpuller analysis ipynb files. It would definitely save a lot of time at our end.

Updates from last week ✔

• Prepping for the JupyterHub Workshop #2 with the political science department staff on Nov 17th!
• Analyzing the raw data from logs in R to calculate the time spent by users on a monthly basis. Could use this data during the workshop!
• Curating the cards & closing relevant issues to prep for sprint planning meeting 3!
• Worked with RTL comms team to update Datahub as one of the RTL specific services
• Resolving requests from the teaching team!

Updates from last week ✔

• Moved some base packages to be installed from conda, rather than pip - this was so we could get a newer version of cartopy Get python packages from conda-forge, use mamba #2933.
• Allowed all outbound internet access from our user pods, so FTP now works! Allow *all* outbound access to the internet #2930 Thanks to @sgibson91 for a solution I could steal.
• All hub logs are now sent to a cloud bucket for archival, rather than be on the hub disk Stop storing logs locally on hub db disk #2926. Thanks to @felder for archiving older logs.

• I think more fully documenting our package update process will give me more peace of mind Document process for servicing a package addition request #2936
