An example makes it easier and faster to check that the code has been implemented correctly.
Several examples are provided https://github.com/bitcoin/bips/blob/master/bip-0143.mediawiki, perhaps one or more of these examples could be translated to Bitcoin Cash?

Can you be more specific? I don't understand how BIP-143 examples are relevant to the specs here. If you mean that this repository needs love, I do agree about that.
