PPM check password policy

What is the problem this feature will solve?

The password policy in openldap is not really configurable.

What is the feature you are proposing to solve the problem?

Add the module ppm.so for a better checking password policy.

Please could you share any documentation or reference to that module?. We need to evaluate the effort required and the benefit obtained with that module before including it in openldap.

The ppm module is originaly in the openldap Source in the folder /contrib/slapd-modules/ppm.
You will find more information on the openldap git :

The source is also available on the ltd-project git :

They make a repo to download extra modules (openldap-ltb-contrib-overlays) :
