rpyutils(1) Flash and control your RP6 robot

SYNOPSIS

rpyloader [options] [hexfile]

DESCRIPTION

The Robby pyLoader allows to reprogram Arexx' RP6 Robot with compiled code.

Flashes the robot with the compiled code in hexfile, if given, otherwise scans current directory for a single file named *.hex and flashes that onto the robot.

• -h, --help show the help dialog
• -f, --file FILE specify a filename
• -d, --device DEVICE select other device than /dev/ttyUSB0
• -i, --ignore ignore that your program maybe doesn't suit the connected your robot device
• -t, --terminal show rpyterm(1) at the end of the flash process
• -l, --debug-level change debug level to show more / less

SECURITY CONSIDERATIONS

rpyloader needs read and write access to serial device DEVICE. If you want to avoid to run rpyloader as root, you should give users allowed to control the robot access to DEVICE.
