Allow multiple events to be booked (event collision)

We like Cal's model, and we have used it to reserve time slots for our conference room. However, now that we're adding more conference rooms, we've run into an issue. We are using events to represent the different rooms, and we noticed that two events can't be booked on the same time slot because that is "busy." As an example:

Current use:

Conference Room Event
9:15-10:15
10:20-11:20
10:25-12:30

Desired use:

Room A Event	Room B Event
9:15-10:15	9:15-10:15
10:20-11:20	9:15-10:15
10:25-12:30	9:15-10:15

Is there a way to allow this?

Not that I know of. If I get the time I might attempt to contribute the changes myself.
