Ternoa Indexer: Generic Upgrade Guidelines

Ternoa provides an Indexer service instance for the 2 public networks, Mainnet and Alphanet:

• Mainnet Indexer 👉 https://indexer-mainnet.ternoa.dev/
• Alphanet Indexer 👉 https://indexer-alphanet.ternoa.dev/

Those instances are always up to date with the latest features of the Ternoa chain. However, as with any service, there may be breaking changes in future major and minor releases. Therefore, it is important to follow the upgrade guidelines outlined below.

1. Follow future releases on a regular basis; they will be announce in a dedicated Github Discussion and in the Ternoa Discord.
2. One week prior to the release, we will share the following resources:
   • a changelog detailling the new changes.
   • a discussion listing all breaking changes with details.
   • a release date for our public instances .
3. On the release day:
   • Changes will be directly applied to our public instances for Mainnet and Alphanet.
   • The previous version will be available for 1 month on temporary instances before being decommissioned.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your Ternoa Indexer service remains up to date with the latest features of the Ternoa chain, while also allowing you time to make any necessary adjustments to accommodate any breaking changes.
