We need a way to annotate solvents automatically.

In the solvent database we have the nucleus and the solvent.

From the selected spectrum we can extract the corresponding solvent / nucleus impurities.

One of those impurities is the 'residual' solvent. That must be highlighted differently.

If there is one selected 1D spectrum add a toggle button in the Spectra pannel

This will add an annotation on the top of the spectrum with mouse over showing the solvent and chemical shifts.
