Thanks for this library, it's been so useful

A certain error seems to occur when the csv file reaches a certain size (>200 MB). The file will not save, but will also not produce any error visible on the app. The app will freeze momentarily and then continue working as normal. This freezing already occurs for large files (i.e. 190 MB), but the file does save in this case

I'm experiencing this issue on 2 different phones running different versions of Android so it may not be device specific

Because of the time it takes to acquire such a large csv file size, I can not provide any information from Android Studio right now. Perhaps this is also an issue with Android and not the library itself

If there's any help or workarounds you can think of, they'd be appreciated. Thanks

Hi @jvgiordano !

How do you use the library?

There are 2 possible ways:

  • you create a String in memory and write this string to the filesystem.
  • you use the transformer and stream the data to the filesystem.

For big files the transformer is clearly the better solution and my be a suitable "work-around" for you.
(search for transformer on the main page)

regards
