Problem:

With lots of columns the sidebar gets hard to understand

Ideas for improvements

Always show a tab for text columns with top values / num unique (helpful for shorter text to see if there are duplicates)
Group text columns under the same text column (maybe with actual group, or color, or something) -- needs design
Sort column profiles
