Community membership features

In preparation for the post-launch experimental phase, a place to discuss and collect notes on community / membership features.

Right now we are considering setting up circle.so, a community directory and forum that feels a bit like slack met facebook.

The Membership Guide has a nice walkthrough for launching and developing a membership programme, including the research / design process, and specific ideas for engagement:
