[Overview] Issues reg. Rapid antigen tests #379
Comments
There's now a blog post reg. quick tests: https://www.coronawarn.app/de/blog/2021-03-31-corona-warn-app-test-integration/ |
How to warn using a (or two) positive rapid test (15 minute test)? In the app there are only two buttons for reporting a positive PCR test. There also is no QR code in the PDF with the results. However, the link above has:
So it should either be possible by now or planned. Where is the issue about this? I intended to create an issue in the wishlist asking about it, but now it seems like such an issue already exists...I just couldn't find it. Please link the issue. |
@prototyperspective our local test center can issue a QR code for the cwa. I tell them before the test, then they include the code in the pdf with the result, or they give me a printed QR. There was a time when all test centers were required to support QR codes for cwa. So you can try and ask them for such a code. |
But that's too late. How could you know before getting the result? If this app is intended to be used, people need to able to report positive results from rapid tests. Otherwise it is basically useless. But I don't know if that's currently wished for at all - it may also be that the current strategy isn't to reduce case numbers but (broadly speaking) to increase herd immunity after vaccinations have taken place during Omicron (instead of bugging people with warnings and try to reduce case numbers). In that case, this needs to be solved whenever this app is intended to be used and I'm not sure why this isn't communicated to people if this is the current strategy. I'm not sure what the point of the app's contact tracing functionality is when you can't report positive test results. |
@prototyperspective To be able to warn in the CWA using a positive rapid antigen test, your test has to be performed at a testing station which is connected to the CWA system. An overview (map) is available here: https://map.schnelltestportal.de |
@prototyperspective I think there is a misunderstanding. Our local test center supports cwa. I tell them that I want a cwa code when I register for the test. |
@prototyperspective Usage of cwa is voluntary, and has always been. There could be people who don't use cwa, and who don't want their result to be sent to the RKI server. For this reason they issue the QR code for cwa only on request. |
As CWA development is ending, I'm discontinuing this overview. |
This is an overview over all open Issues regarding rapid (antigen) tests (to keep track and avoid duplicates).
