Technical details

  • Device name: OnePlus 6T
  • Android version: 10
  • App version: 2.17.2

Describe the bug

I did a test and received a negative result which got emailed to me by PDF. It contained a QR code for the CoronaWarnApp, not an EU QR code.

When opening the PDF in the CoronaWarnApp, the app asks whether to import the certificate. I clicked Yes.
Then it asked to create a EU QR code, I hastily pressed No.

This proved to be an undoable error.
After realizing, I tried reimporting, which worked, only to tell me the QR is invalid or has already been imported.

I now have a negative test result in the CWA app, which doesn't allow me to request a QR code.
It tells me that there is a link 'specified above' to get an EU QR code, but there isn't (see image)

Any help in preventing such an error in the feature is appreciated.

@LJPLux Thanks for the report. For the moment I would consider this an enhancement request of the following: It should be possible to request a EU DCC, even if a user did not request it when registering the test.

Best wishes, DS

I just got a reply from the SAP CWA OS team:

So it seems this is indeed a systemic feature. Why would anyone NOT want a EU-DCC issued to them?
One fat finger and your test is useless.

One fat finger and your test is useless.

Exactly that is my problem, which I also described in the above linked issue.
