Passing PartitionedConfig to ConfigMapping?

Suppose I have a PartitionedConfig, for example

@daily_partitioned_config(
    start_date=my_start_date
)
def my_partitioned_config(start, end):
    return {"ops": {"my_op": {"config" : {"date": start.strftime("%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S")}}}}

Is it possible to instead return something like

{"date": start.strftime("%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S")}

and then use a ConfigMapping to translate this to the full config

{"ops": {"my_op": {"config" : {"date": start.strftime("%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S")}}}}

I was not able to find any documentation about this.
