I know this is partially a TweetDeck issue, but I started running ModernDeck today and I get the infamous "Every account you're using... agree to the updated Terms and Privacy..." dialog.

Unfortunately in ModernDeck installed from Flathub, there's no way to dismiss this dialog, and I have never figured out where on twitter.com I'm supposed to "agree" to these conditions.

It does not prevent me from using ModernDeck, but I would really appreciate some tips on how to get rid of it!

Hey, when this banner, it is because as it says, you are linked to accounts which haven't agreed to Twitter's updated TOS / Privacy Policy, try logging into those accounts on Twitter Web and see if it prompts you to accept the updated TOS / Privacy Policy.

If this solves your problem, feel free to close the issue.

I have a similar problem with the Tweetdeck for Mac closing notification, not exactly the same but also unable to dismiss notification dialogue in flatpack app on linux.

Make sure your app is up to date @maximuskowalski as that bug should be fixed

Thank you, looks like it's a version behind on flathub, showing 9.44 and appimage is 9.45 - so I'll just either wait it out or flip to appimage.

I have logged into the accounts in question to ensure they had accepted TOS, but I can't confirm that it worked because I have the same issue as @maximuskowalski. Once I can update ModernDeck I'll report back (I'm also using flathub).

@maximuskowalski 9.4.5 was supposed to be published on Flathub but the build borked. I'm not actually the one that puts out the Flathub releases (but I do try to coordinate and help where I can)

If you want a temporary solution you can literally just disable the banner altogether using custom CSS:

.message-banner { display: none; }
