Business Strategy and Principles

1. Ideas and CDT algorithm, in particular CDT0. This is free, and anyone can implement it.
2. Free, under AGPL. We may switch to a similar license that prohibits the use of the code and documentation in machine learning. Briefly, AGPL means that anyone can use the code, but if it's used as a library in other products, the product code must be released under AGPL.
3. Anyone can request to add a feature. Someone may eventually implement the feature. However, anyone can use this feature as well. Note that some PRs could be rejected. However, you may use your fork under AGPL. We have our list of priorities.
4. Commercial services and partnership. There are different ways of collaboration.
   • implementing features in Blockset under AGPL. Note that the Blockset team will still own all the copyrights.
   • consulting, e.g., how to implement the same algorithm.
   • commercial license of Blockset
   • developing exclusive products and solutions based on the Blockset.

Developing multiple exclusive solutions that compete with each other could be very expensive and less profitable, so we would prefer to combine solutions from different teams, partner, and coordinate our efforts.
