HA Will not finish loading since update 2023.1.1

Running HAOS on NUC, since update 2023.1.1 HA will not finish loading if this integration is active in yaml.

Commenting this line in the config solves the problem.

My server is having problems communicating with the Ergast API. I am working on it. Sorry for the problem.

Isn't there some way to handle API connection errors or timeouts so that it's not blocking the initialization? I had to disable the integration after the update, at times the startup time increased by more than 5 minutes.

same issue for me... I disabled the integration for now... hope that there will be a fix soon (Y)

Unfortunately, I will not be pursuing the project. It takes to much of my time and ultimately brakes my company's web server. I will be shutting down the project on February 15th if nobody takes over.
