Problem Statement:

Veterans who see the sign in screen upon their first visit to the app have significantly lower return rates compared to those who successfully sign in and see the home screen. This discrepancy indicates a suboptimal pre-login experience, which may be discouraging Veterans from returning to the app after an unsuccessful sign in attempt.

Objective
Improving the pre-sign-in experience could boost return rates and overall user retention. As a result, we want to track the rate of return for users who did NOT get signed in and whether it increases if pre sign-in experiences is improved

Acceptance Criteria (AC):

  • a table and graph showing the rate of return within a month for users who did NOT get signed their first time coming to the app
  • months for analysis are January - October 2024
