Hey hey just confirming that there are definitely IA implications here! I just watched design intent and documented the team's IA strategy in this mural.

I'm going to chat with Mikki this afternoon about the team's proposal and see if we have any IA flags. No follow up for the team yet!

Also y'all have great artifacts, clear decisions documented, and have clearly thought a lot about the IA experience! Woo thank you!

Noting no concerns from Mikki! So we think that the following decisions are fine from an IA standpoint:

1. Adding an entry point to the Veteran ID card from the veteran disability rating banner
2. Moving the Veteran ID card page into a separate card in profile

As this is our first submission to CAIA, I want to ensure we're proceeding correctly. In addition to general feedback, our team is seeking guidance on several key points:

• Should we use the term "Proof of Veteran Status" or "Veteran Status Card"? Given that it replaces the VIC, is there a preferred terminology?
• Is there a need to modify the title on the name tag button/link?
• For the card itself, is there a clearer way to phrase "Latest period of service", without it being too long?
• Is the content on the print page satisfactory?
• Could you assist in refining the accordion content? See FAQs

Hey @DavidPearlUX ! I started looking at your Figma and also chatted a bit with @mistymg , since this work will span web and mobile.

Should we use the term "Proof of Veteran Status" or "Veteran Status Card"? Given that it replaces the VIC, is there a preferred terminology?

• I think we want to use "Veteran status card" (sentence case because we try to avoid creating new proper nouns)
• It looks like most of the designs present this in the form of a card, and people are likely to carry it in their physical or digital wallet, so card seems like a helpful word to keep here
• We're adding it to the "types of Veteran ID cards" page, so this will be more consistent

Is there a need to modify the title on the name tag button/link?
- Can you link the specific frame or @ mention me in the Figma on this? Want to make sure I'm looking at the right element

For the card itself, is there a clearer way to phrase "Latest period of service", without it being too long?
- I'm still thinking about this... "last" might be shorter and clearer than "latest"?

Is the content on the print page satisfactory?

• I need to suggest some edits for site style, but 2 more Qs first:
  - Are you okay with me direct editing text in the design file? I can either edit in the main frames or copy frames and label them something like "Laura version". I can also do comments with suggested edits if you prefer, but direct editing is usually faster.
  - Which page in the file is the most current/which page should I should be working in?

• Sure thing! But first want to confirm where this will appear — are you thinking it will be a longer Q&A accordion section here with all those questions?
• Where did these Q&As come from and can we consider other ways to present the info? We aim for 5 accordions max in a row, so may want to cut or combine some, or present the content more directly on whichever page this is for.
