use official data source #3

Maybe rather refer to VBB as the data source directly? https://www.vbb.de/unsere-themen/vbbdigital/api-entwicklerinfos/datensaetze Over in another project, we had a problem with missing / faulty lines like the tram line |
Do you have any resources on tram line colors? I didn't find anything official and using the color pipette to determine the line color from maps / line logos on Wikipedia seems a bit of a hack. |
No, currently don't have a source. Also, keep in mind that many of the line logos are actually wrong/different across data sources (e.g. BVG & VBB). |
So ... I am just gonna go with whatever BVG provides. Seems the best fitting. Thanks |
Probably the tram-specific map is the most official source for colors: At DB, we currently use tram colors for cities without U-Bahn only (e.g. Mannheim or Bremen). In Berlin, Trams are not shown using color at DB stations or their stops, so we didn’t use those. Helping users with way finding was a focus. |
