This was fun to figure out what the error was about but in the end, it turns out that if you try to load a file in STAMP that is in a directory that is a sub-sub-sub-directory of a directory with a special character in the directory name (such as the e with an accent) STAMP will merely popup the "Unknown Parsing Error" dialog.
This bug was found on a French Win7 SP1 64bit machine running STAMP 2.1.3.
