v2.2.10 Released

We just published v2.2.10 to the pre-release channel which contains a set of changes which should address some (but not all) of the reports we've had where projects don't have complete or working IntelliSense. We expect this to improve the scenarios where you do not have DevKit installed, and you are using any one of:

• .NET Framework-targeting projects on Windows, including projects that aren't "SDK-style" projects.
• .NET 8 SDK projects on Windows, Mac, or Linux.

If you've been having issues around some of these types of projects (and especially if you had to switch back to Omnisharp mode) we'd love it if you can give this version a shot and see if it works better for you. This is only on the pre-release channel, so if you haven't opted in to that channel you'll have to click this button:

And of course you can roll back at any time to the current released version (v2.1.2). I'd love any feedback of whether this helps, and if you are somebody where stuff was already working, it'd be good to know this didn't make anything worse so we know we're good to ship this more widely.

    • This should fix a number of reports where projects don't have full IntelliSense. .NET Framework projects on Windows should load without errors. .NET Framework targeting projects on Mac and Linux which would use Mono are still processed as if they are .NET Core projects and may not load correctly; support for Mono is coming in a future update.
