15:00 EST: High memory usage alerts fired
15:00 EST: Machine crashes and rooms are migrated to a new node
15:04 EST: Connected clients drop from 48 to 10
15:06 EST: Connected clients drop from 12 to 4
15:17 EST: Downtime alerts fired
15:25 EST: Fly implements a fix

Cause

Platform failures. Not our fault. It seems to have only really affected the ewr region.
