Is there a way of tracking entries where no date outputs because an exact date is categorized as a period date or a period date as an exact date or any other such mismatch?

@RichardLGPN

Cases like e.g. this one?

Yes, I'll check if we didn't run similar checks before, but if not, I can prepare a script to find mismatched data:

  • marked as period but no period selected
  • marked as exact but no date set
  • marked as before (or after) but 2 ends of a date range set

and similar

Dear Richard,

I've extended our existing tool for checking date inconsistencies. You can access it from the Proofing menu or following the link below
