Error in ICU data for Spain during the past days #48
Comments
Dear Lucia
thanks for pointing it out. Unfortunately since the beginning Spanish
authorities continued to change format and this is the result of yet
another change in the format. We have corrected our data
Best regards

Hello. It seems like JRC ICU numbers for Spain are significantly higher
than those reported in their official website (kindly see table 2 for ICU
patients as of 2 July), observing a big spike when compared to the previous
week.

Dear Alessandro,
Many thanks for the quick fix.
It is indeed challenging to keep track of all the websites changes.
Kind regards,
Lucia

The main problem is that we have to rely on a PDF file that can change at
any time. For some time they passed to a CSV file and then it was no
longer updated. So continuos changes , even of content. For example for
long time the ICU entries were provided and few weeks ago it switched to
ICU occupancy (entry minus dismissions), as the rest of Europe was
providing. However iit is important that it ends, no matter what the
format is.
Best regards
Alessandro
