Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to Macro - Sequence mode <--- Important
  2. Paste from clipboard to the canvas the following HELM: RNA1{R(A)P.R(A,C,G,T)P.R(A)}$$$$V2.0
    image
  3. Select any N nucleotide and select Modify in RNA Builder
    image
  4. Select 4ime6A base from the library and press Update button
    image

Actual behavior
Sequence on the canvas got corrupted - it put 4ime6A in places of N
image

Expected behavior
N base replaced with A base
image

  • Ketcher Version 2.28.0-rc.1 Build at 2024-12-03; 17:04:52
  • Indigo Version 1.27.0-rc.1.0-g8d656a341-wasm32-wasm-clang-19.0.0
  • Chrome Version 131.0.6778.109 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  • Win10
