This is great news! Good decision, web software engineer here 🙋, working on IOT on my spare time.

I have one quick question for you since I'm already here, I've come to find the matter API quite unintuitive for developers coming from the arduino framework, requiring very low level access to things that the average hobbyist might not want to tweak to start with.
Are you guys planning to support it eventually, or will matter on ESP always be an esp-idf-only library?
