I use an extension that blocks certain scripts. I also use DuckDuckGo most times.
When using the default search engine it first opens the normal search url (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=* and then redirects to the html version (https://html.duckduckgo.com/html?q=*) this takes some time and is just unneccesary.
When choosing the name "DuckDuckGo" it didnt let me add that because an engine of the same name already exists.
After removing the original search engine in the preferences however it still didnt work. No visible error but the rightclick menu option to add the engine just didnt appear.
Choosing another name worked.
restarted my browser, disabled all extensions, tried a clean profile. Didn't restart my entire pc tho.
not a very pressing issue ofc but I think a warning would still be nice
on Ubuntu 22LST with FF119
