In our client-server deployment, (mix of OS as the client and Centos 7 as host), the clients always start in blocking mode rather than in non-blocking mode. The server(s) are in an always ON mode, till our application calls for a shutdown, it could be days before a server is shutdown.
Of late, we are facing issues where the server(s) are active but the clients cannot establish a connection. This happens without any failure message. The client is frozen and can successfully establish a connection only when the corresponding server port is restarted. See below
